Kendall C. Vague, M.D., from Shreveport, Louisiana, finished his medical school training at LSU School of Medicine. After completing his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at UAB in 1984, he founded Southern Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Associates in Jasper, Alabama and was joined shortly after by Dr. Erich Wouters.

A fellow with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, he and his wife are active members in church and community activities including Walker High School and Bevill State Community College. Dr Vague is also an elder at the Trace Church of Christ which supports various mission works including Baja Missions where he  administers health care to under developed areas of Mexico.
